One of my favorite things to do when I travel out of the country is to take a workshop or class to learn something new. Aside from gaining a new skill or hobby, it’s also a great way to meet new people and make new friends. Even here in Manila, I’m always on the hunt for workshops to join.
But have I mentioned that I teach workshops, too? Yes, I do! I usually teach in schools or companies, but this time, I’m taking my workshops to Bonifacio Global City, for people like me who are looking for new learning opportunities in the neighborhood.
A couple of weeks ago, I did a public run of my Time Management and Productivity Workshop at Kuppa Roastery & Cafe. The intent was to give people an opportunity to start the year right by clarifying their goals and priorities for 2017. I also taught a task management system that I created during the years I worked as a project manager. The system is designed to help people achieve more while maintaining work-life balance.
If you have a tendency to get overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or swamped, this might be the perfect workshop for you. For those who are interested to take advantage of this learning opportunity, I’m doing another run of the Time Management and Productivity Workshop on Saturday, February 11, 1:00pm to 4:00 pm at Habitat Manila (yes, that beautiful furniture store!) on the 3rd floor of Abenson on the corner of 28th Street and 4th Avenue in Bonifacio Global City.
This is what some participants had to say about the workshop:
“Liz’s workshop was a wonderful sit-down with other great people about my plans and goals for the year. I found myself listing down concrete action steps toward accomplishing my goals, and learning methods for planning my year, month, and week which I actually apply in my work today. You heard that, I learned something that I actually use in my day-to-day, and it’s really helpful! Don’t miss the opportunity!” – Nate P.
“I applied the method you shared and it’s super effective! I feel so organized and productive!!! Yay, thank you!” – Nicci V.
“This workshop helped me define my priorities- both in the roles I’ve taken on, and the tasks I need to finish. Liz taught us how to incorporate a more optimal system in accomplishing our goals. I’ve found this system to be so ideal because I’ve accomplished more tasks, and have been more productive with my time, without the emotional and mental stress.” – Pauline D.
